It’s a simple 3-step process: 1. You contact us with your inquiry, give us a vague sketch of activities you’d like to do, food you’d like to pig out on and a whole list of other such details. 2. We get back to you by giving you a trip outline, interaction is fostered and quotations are thrown onto the table for negotiation. 3. With regards the Konkan, we’re the pioneers in designing this unique trip along the Konkan coast. While most companies will take you via the interior route, which is roughly about 800kms, we drive you right alongside the coast so that you’re by the beaches 24x7, a good 1400km odd drive. This trip is extremely authentic, off the beaten trail and non-touristy, in the sense that you’re only going to find local tourists around. In fact, some of our favorite spots lie along this coast and there’s plenty of scope to do a whole bunch of fun activities and fulfill your heart’s every desire.Our trips
Our trips are very interactive, fun, personal and they keep you on your toes all the time so there’s never a dull moment when with us. To delve into a few personals, our rendezvous with the Konkan began a couple of years back when we made our first journey via the Bombay-Goa highway on our motorcycles. Those were the days:) Ancient, but something to cherish. That trip kick started a whole lot for us and we’ve been to and fro ever since. Our trips cater to all foodies, because cuisine down the coast is finger licking good, be it vegetarian or non-vegetarian. A lot of their food is coconut based and that just makes the already amazingly scrumptious food jump up by a whole lot of brownie points. This trip also allows for performance of a variety of aqua-terra activities and the scope for coming up with newer activities is huge as well. What we also place focus on during our trips skidding down the Konkan is the magnificent architecture that exposes itself, very subtly. It’s just spectacular, the ancient forts, palaces, empire ruins, temples, wildlife sanctuaries, all of it. It’s crazy that you can find so much diversity and variance along just a couple 1000kms of land! Last but not the least, we’re thoroughly well equipped with transport and knowledge on accommodation, places to visit, and everything under the bright shining sun that pertains to us. We believe in quality and not quantity and hence our tour consists of micro groups with not more than 5 people per trip. About Konkan Explorer
The Konkan Coast The Konkan Coast spans 720km of coastline along the Southwestern side of the Indian subcontinent solely in the state of Maharashtra. Moving further south, you’d find the Sapta- Konkan, which further extends from Maharashtra into Goa. Not to mention, there is the mighty Sahyadri Mountain Range (popularly called the Western Ghats), which forms the eastern boundary of the Konkan and extends into the oceans and the Arabian Sea, which marks the western boundary. These were just the geographics. Dotted with pristine, immaculate, sandy white beaches, each having their own distinct personality and with the oceans being both cool and calm for you to pick your ideal surf spots, the Konkan coast is a haven for most travellers. This area is extremely unperturbed and lush with greenery all around and you’ll find beaches here that are so secluded and breathtakingly beautiful that you’ll never want to bid them goodbye.
